Welding rod from Polyethylen (high density), PE-HD or HDPE
To join PE parts, they are welded together, since they cannot be glued or printed without pretreatment. All common welding devices such as hot air blowers or blowers, an Injectiweld or welding extruder are suitable for this purpose.
The biggest advantage of PE is its chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, oils and greases and is heat resistant up to a temperature of ~80°C. Polyethylene has high ductility and impact resistance and can be very well finished by grinding, drilling and sawing.
